Cranswick enjoy more success at the 'BPEX Pork Product of the Year Competition'.

We are delighted to announce that in the recent ‘BPEX Pork Product of the Year Competition 2008’ Cranswick Foodservice received several accolades for our current foodservice catalogue of products.

Gold Medal Winners

  • Jack Scaife Hand Cured, Air Dried Gammon Steak (Best cured product)
  • Outdoor Reared Hampshire Breed Thick Cut Pork Chop (Best Fresh Pork Cut)
  • Ham Shanks in Dijonnaise Sauce (Best Pork Ready Meal)

Silver Medal Winners

  • Smokey Flavour Maple BBQ Ribs (Best Innovative Pork Product)

Our Jack Scaife Dry Cured Gammon Steak has also been shortlisted for the product finals to take place in London later in the year.

 The Jack Scaife family cure recipe has been used for over 100 years passed down from generation to generation- using a unique sea salt cure.  Each back is rubbed by hand with a sea salt cure before being air dried and matured for longer for a mellow and more distinguished taste.
